Of course that makes August even harder, but who cares right now??? :0)Thank you for joining my linky party! jeannieKindergarten Lifestyle. Reply Tessa on June 2, 2012 at 4:34 PM I love my heels but I love my flip flops more! Reply Lisa R. on June 2, 2012 at 3:24 PM Absolutely!!! I definitely agree with the heels part! I am looking forward to wearing nothing but flip flops for 2 months. 🙂 LisaLearning Is Something to Treasure Reply Tessa on June 2, 2012 at 4:39 PM Me too sister! Reply Katie on June 2, 2012 at 3:39 PM Your post made me laugh because I never wear heels to work (I'm all about cute flat sandals)! I wear heels when I'm NOT at work. I bounce around and can be a little too energetic when teaching to wear my heels. HaHa. Actually, I have a little sassy girl in my class and her incentive to get an A on her weekly reading test was for me to wear heels. She is very low academically, so it was hard for her. She achieved it twice, and the whole class thought it was awesome that I wore heels because of it. lol. I totally agree with the rest of your post though! KatieDirty Hands and Lesson Plans Reply Tessa on June 2, 2012 at 4:35 PM Haha! I wear heels often- though not too high. I'm so short and I am to poor and lazy to get ALL my pants hemmed, so heels are a necessity sometimes. All winter long I wear heeled boots! That's a very creative way to motivate a child, though! 🙂 Reply Arlene on June 2, 2012 at 6:04 PM I don't think in all my 33 years of teaching I ever wore heels more than 10 times. Why are you getting up at 7??????Now all I ever wear are flip flops!!ArleneLMN Tree Reply Tessa on June 2, 2012 at 6:09 PM I live in heels Arlene! I love them! And I get up at 5 during the school year so 7 is great! 🙂 Reply Sara S. on June 2, 2012 at 8:48 PM I totally agree with everything you said!! I sleep in till 7, only wear flip flops, read tons of books and organize everything! Sara 🙂Smiling In Second Grade Reply Tessa on June 2, 2012 at 8:50 PM I'm glad that I'm not the only one! Reply Kelley Dolling on June 2, 2012 at 10:45 PM No joke on the heels. I have been off on surgery leave and I barely knew what to do with myself on Open House night. I kept trying to see if my hot pink slippers worked with my outfit choice 🙂 Kelley DollingTeacher Idea Factory Reply Tessa on June 2, 2012 at 10:54 PM I still love them though! There's a couple teachers who actually wear a pair of slippers at school because they're sequined and you can't tell. I'm so jealous! Reply Lucia13 on June 2, 2012 at 11:13 PM Soooo true,I have been longing for my summer vacations… LusineEnjoy Teaching English Reply Submit a Comment Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
