I don’t cry when my dog runs away.
I don’t get angry at the bills I have to pay.

When I was thinking of a post title, that’s what popped in my head, and when those words pop in my head, the lyrics just start flowing.  Just be lucky you didn’t have to hear me singing it out loud.  I’m a terrible singer who loves singing, which is a terrible combination all around.  And if you have no idea what I’m talking about, don’t worry, I’m moving on now.  🙂

Somewhere between the school day today, staff meeting after school, building leadership team meeting after school, impromptu powwow regarding my kid who is a daily struggle, and planning for my evaluation tomorrow (any why didn’t I plan it better during break instead of spending hours and hours and hours reading the Divergent series?) I scored some deals at the Cyber Monday {& Tuesday} sale over on TpT.

Here are my super exciting snags!

I fell in love with Halle’s fall set of comprehension passages and when I saw these, I knew I needed them!  They help us practice writing with PQA, and since it’s a seasonal topic, the kids stay a bit more engaged.

These comprehension snapshots will be the perfect quick check of students’ proficiency with the standards! I am so excited to start using them!

Have you seen this brand-spankin-new Holidays around the World unit from Lyndsey at A Year of Many Firsts?  No?  Well, oh my goodness!  She posted it last night and it’s all kinds of amazing.  It’s creative and innovative.  And, she made a You Tube video.  A YOU TUBE VIDEO!  Seriously.  I want to be in her class when I go back to first grade.  And, what’s even better, I totally plan on using it with my third graders too!

I’m also linking up with Miss Kindergarten and Blog Hoppin as I check out the other great finds from others!

I’m sure I’m missing some must-haves, so I’d love for you to leave a comment with what you think I should be sure to grab at a great price!  I figure I’ll go shopping again tomorrow night too!
