This week I’m sharing an app with you instead of a website.  Because I don’t have iPads or other tablets available in my classroom, I don’t tend to pay much attention to all of the awesome apps out there.  This one, though, has shown up in my Facebook feed twice and I thought I’d check it out.  It’s from Arcademic Skill Builders and I LOVE their site.  I talked about it a long while back and shared some of my favorite games.  You can check out that post here.
The folks from Arcademic are giving away the app for free for the month of February here in the iTunes store and it works with iPhones and iPads.  The game is set up just like all of their other games.  Students play as cute little penguins and jump to chunks of ice to make their way to the larger iceberg.

I did check out the Google Play store and couldn’t find this app separately.  Arcademic does have an app and it does seem to do all of the online games, so it seems this one is a premium game or something.  You can download their app here.

Because I don’t have an iTunes account, I can’t see all of the specifics on Arcademic there.  You can download their main app here.  Or, you can just download Penguin Jump Multiplication here.

Do you recommend any websites I should feature?  I’d love to hear of some different ones!
