The beginning of the school year is rough. No matter how many hours and hours I spend in my classroom in the summer, August hits and I’m automatically behind and can’t get caught up. As soon as I think I maybe, just maybe, might possibly be caught up after a marathon of a work session on a Saturday, I discover a bunch of things I haven’t yet done and my To-Do list once again
I’ve spent the last 15 years teaching in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades, and working beside elementary classrooms as an instructional coach and resource support.
