Each year, I end out the year with some student gifts. I give my students at least one book, and some resources they can use to continue to learn in more fun ways with their family. This year, our end of the year is looking incredibly different than ever before. I will be giving students summer gifts when they pick up their supplies in a few weeks. I’m always looking for ways to build my students’ skills in fun and engaging ways. I like to use games in my classroom, especially in math. Bump is a super popular game that builds students’ fact fluency. Part of what makes it so popular is that there’s not many extra tools needed. Some people use a spinner to play and others use a dice.
