Whew! Week 1 is under my belt! I’m not going to lie, the last couple weeks have been incredibly stressful. I couldn’t get into my room until what seemed like way too late. Then, maintenance tore down my bulletin boards. I worked in there for 3.5 days the week before. Then, I had to put my dog down 🙁 and come to school the next day, and I thought I was going to lose it!
I’m frantically trying to get everything ready for this school year. I officially start on Monday and the kids come Wednesday. I have so much more to do and my room is nowhere near ready! I was so excited when I had the chance to participate in this year’s Back to School E-Magazine! Last year’s magazine was phenomenal. If you aren’t familiar with it, it’s basically a picture magazine detailing what a bunch of teachers think are essentials for heading into the Back to School season. Record keeping with writing can be a difficult process if you aren’t organized, so I knew I wanted to establish some system in my room right from the start that would help.
