First off, I wanted to let my followers know that I have decided to discontinue the Wednesday Website linky. People just weren’t linking up and following. I think I’ll probably still showcase websites from time to time on Wednesdays (and maybe reinstitute my Woohoo Wednesdays too!) but I’m going to take a bit of break.
Next, I have some exciting news for you! I am teaming up with a group of my best blogging buddies to give away a $200 Staples gift card thanks to Coupons.com! As I mentioned in my deals post on Monday, I am cheap! I am a regular couponer and get a thrill from finding great deals. Coupons.com is one of my go-to sites each week so I can stock up on my coupons! They even have online coupon codes that you can use to help you score deals online. Here is their coupons for Staples.com.
They also sent me a $50 gift card that I can use to help me get ready for the school year. I’ve been trying to decide what I want to spend it on. I can use it each week as I stock up on their weekly deals. Or, I could use it to make some of my big purchases for the year. Decisions, decisions.
I know I want my students to have a multi-folder writing system for the year. I’ve been thinking of buying folders when I get good deals and then binding them. But, I saw these on their website and I thought I might just buy them instead of taking all that time and energy.

The technology in my classroom is absolutely non-existent and so I’m also thinking that the gift card would go a long way towards helping me buy a projector. I’ve been pricing them all over and this one at Staples is a great deal. Plus, Acer is a well known technology brand, so I feel like I could trust it.
AND, I have signed up for the Teacher’s Reward program so I know I’d get a great rebate from that. For now, I think I’m going to hold onto it so that I can make sure I find the absolute best deal to spend my money on.
Now it’s your chance to win a Staples gift card from Coupons.com. Enter using the rafflecopter below. You only can enter on one of our blogs so while you’re here make sure and enter! For fun, leave a comment letting me know what you’d spend that GIANT gift card on! I wish I could win!a Rafflecopter giveaway

I'm saddened to have read that Wednesday Website Linky will no longer be held. It's too bad. I was enjoying it. 🙁 No worries, I understand. 🙂
As for the wonderful giveaway that you're hosting here….all I have to say is, "Wow!!! That's one hot giveaway!" Thanks! If I had a chance to win, I'd get myself a laptop. The one I have now has seen better days.
Thanks…..Najda
Oh my goodness! What would I buy? Supplies for my kiddos! It is what I do every year, but this year, to have some help…ah! It would be awesome! I go to Staples every Sunday for the Back to School deals — I love them! Maybe I would splurge on a nice binder for me, too! Mine always rip towards the end of the year.

I think I would put a gift card towards one of those nifty binding machines…I have a personal laminator and it's amazing!
Either that or glue sticks…I can NEVER have too many glue sticks!
I'm a teacher so this will come in very handy.
I would use the gift cards to buy comfy seating for my students like pillows and stools. I would also buy extra supplies for my students.

I am a first year teacher and if I won the $200 I would buy things to help organize my new classroom! I really want some plastic cubbys, plastic baskets to hold supplies, and then get some basic supplies for my classroom to start the year off. I need dry erase markers, pencils, construction paper and so many things I can't even name them!

I would love to buy school supplies for my new class and a personal laminator to use as well, thanks for doing this!!
I'm going to be a first year teacher and so this would go a long way towards buying things for the classroom like folders and bulletin board decor, individual dry erase boards and marker, etc. Beth- be*******@gm***.com
I'll be a first year teacher so this would definitely come in handy. I'll definitely be needing more ink for my printer to help prepare everything, composition books, folders, dry erase markers, and so on. There is just so much to buy and do to get ready for the students!
tr*******@ho*****.com
I'd purchase the multi folder system for my class. I've seen posts describing how one can make those, but making this one purchase would alleviate the purchase of supplies plus my time.
I would love to do more crafts with my first graders, but supplies are so expensive! I would purchase all of the arts and crafts supplies, papers, pencils, markers, etc. that I would need to more effectively implement crafts into my curriculum .
This will be my first year teaching in the middle school setting, so I would buy classroom supplies for students to use, like the multi-folders, pencils, paper, etc.
I would buy some 8-pocket portfolios to use as writing folders — I love that idea! I would also indulge my obsession with Sharpie markers and cool pens. And I would buy more crayons! Nothing says "back-to-school" like the smell of new Crayolas! Love it!!
I have so much I want to buy! I want to get folders, pens, an electric three-hole punch, colored pencils, and more that I can't even thing of at the moment! 🙂
What an incredible giveaway! It would take me hours searching up and down the aisles figuring out what perfect item(s) to buy!

How great would it be to win this giveaway! Organization is what I need! In the process of redoing my file cabinet and turning some of my files into binders. Binders are expensive! Would love the help!
I am in my second year of a new position and I would love to spend this at Staples. Staples has all the basic supplies. i am thinking folders, stapler, pencil sharpener and so much more. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity.

I would try to get some technology for the classroom! Need more of that 😉
I need some more binders for organizing subjects, units, seasonal projects, etc!
I would get a laminator for sure. No more waiting in line with a stack of cuteness to have it laminated would be wonderful. Also, maybe I would splurge on some ridiculously overpriced pens that I love. Thanks for the give away.
Oh man, I "need" cardstock, Flair pens, bright colored paper, a decent teacher chair. So many options!
I would definitely stock up on all of the pretty things!! 🙂 Pens, cardstock, sticky notes, a new desk chair, laminating pouches…the list goes on!!
Have you considered DonorsChoose.org for technology? I've used it twice to get things for my classroom. So far, I've gotten around $900 of books and other supplies (manipulatives, calculators, pocket charts)
I would use it to get my room more organized!
Deb
I'd love to use this gift card to help get supplies for my students!
This would be a great early Xmas gift. Who doesn't love Staples? It's a candy shop for teachers.
