I love to organize too! And who has time to do it right during the school year?

I'm going to have to check out what everyone else posted! 🙂
I'm with you Tessa – my feet don't see anything but tennies and flip-flops long! Of course that makes August even harder, but who cares right now??? :0)
Thank you for joining my linky party!

I love my heels but I love my flip flops more!
Absolutely!!! I definitely agree with the heels part! I am looking forward to wearing nothing but flip flops for 2 months. 🙂

Learning Is Something to Treasure
Me too sister!
Your post made me laugh because I never wear heels to work (I'm all about cute flat sandals)! I wear heels when I'm NOT at work. I bounce around and can be a little too energetic when teaching to wear my heels. HaHa. Actually, I have a little sassy girl in my class and her incentive to get an A on her weekly reading test was for me to wear heels. She is very low academically, so it was hard for her. She achieved it twice, and the whole class thought it was awesome that I wore heels because of it. lol. I totally agree with the rest of your post though!

Dirty Hands and Lesson Plans
Haha! I wear heels often- though not too high. I'm so short and I am to poor and lazy to get ALL my pants hemmed, so heels are a necessity sometimes. All winter long I wear heeled boots!
That's a very creative way to motivate a child, though! 🙂
I don't think in all my 33 years of teaching I ever wore heels more than 10 times. Why are you getting up at 7??????
Now all I ever wear are flip flops!!

I live in heels Arlene! I love them! And I get up at 5 during the school year so 7 is great! 🙂
I totally agree with everything you said!! I sleep in till 7, only wear flip flops, read tons of books and organize everything!

I'm glad that I'm not the only one!
No joke on the heels. I have been off on surgery leave and I barely knew what to do with myself on Open House night. I kept trying to see if my hot pink slippers worked with my outfit choice 🙂

I still love them though!
There's a couple teachers who actually wear a pair of slippers at school because they're sequined and you can't tell. I'm so jealous!
Soooo true,
I have been longing for my summer vacations…
